What grows here: Introducing the work ahead

There’s something special about returning to the same place again and again. You begin to notice the rhythm of the land, how the light shifts, and the quiet unfolding of each season. This year, I’m honored to document the ongoing work an extraordinary local business—witnessing it's growth, sharing their stories, and capturing the beauty in process.

This isn’t just another gallery—it’s a relationship in development, one framed through shared intention and care. Here is the brand I’ll be collaborating with this season to this point:

Gwenyn Hill Farm
Nestled in the Kettle Moraine region, this certified organic farm balances rotational grazing with locally sourced CSA shares. Their deep commitment to land stewardship and community inspires everything I capture—from workers tending the fields to harvests at dawn.  My first visit left me filled with reverence and hope. I witnessed a team not just working the land, but living their values—stewardship, sustainability, and shared purpose. In a world increasingly run by machines and automation, seeing people with dirt on their hands, fully present and committed to the land, was deeply moving. It reminded me that real work, real food, and real care are still very much alive—and worth honoring.

This is just the first chapter. Over the season, I'll share posts here with images, reflections, and glimpses into what it takes to grow and tell these stories. I hope you'll follow along—whether you're drawn to honest brand photography or you're a local business looking for imagery that feels real and rooted.

Let’s see what grows.

Warmly,
Michelle
